Term paper format apa style
Have you been busting your little collegiate butt just to get mediocre results. Well, tell Granny to get the magnets ready: follow these steps, and take your term papers to the head of the class. Choose your topic. IntroductionAs you write your term papers, it will be important for you to document where you obtained the information cited in your report. An important component of your writing will be the effective use of reference material. This skill will serve you well in writing papers of all types, not just those required for classes. For this class, we will be using the documentation style of the American Psychological Association (APA, 2001) modified with italics substituted for underlining.

Numbered references to footnotes or end-notes have been eliminated in favor of in-text citations that identify the author and year of publication.
The reference can then be located in the References at the end of the paper. In addition to this fundamental change, the APA style mandates an overall structure for a paper.
