Book reports promote literacy and strengthen skills in reading comprehension, reading fluency, and writing. All books selected for book reports must be approved by the teacher.
Students will be given time to read their book report books in class during DEAR time. Book reports will be completed at home, although students may occasionally be given time to work on book reports in class. Grades for book reports will be listed under Reading in the Moodle grade book.The due dates for all book reports are listed below.
Students may choose from a variety of book report templates (scroll down to find the list). Templates can be downloaded and printed at home, or copies may be obtained in class.
