Report writing on a book exhibition
On this occasionthe whole area wore a festive look. Visiting the fair, this reporter watched aunique arrangement and a great festivity all over the fair. There were a lot ofbookstalls beautifully decorated. Every book stall was full of various kinds ofbooks. Thousands of book-lovers were looking for their favorite books. Somepopular writers were present at some book stalls and their fans were surroundingthem.
Some of the book-lovers were taking autographs from their favoritewriters. Bangla Academy has arranged its ownbook stall which has a vast collection of books. This year books on theLiberation War of Bangladesh are in great demand. There is a foodcorner in the fair. Book fair is a great event of attraction for the intelligent and book lovers. National book fair is organised by the National Book Trust every year. It is held in Pragati Maidan.The World Book Fair is organised every alternate year, publishers from all across the world participate in it.
We discussed this with our teacher to visit this mega event. The teacher readily agreed and took us batch by batch to this event. We hired a big van and went along with our teacher to watch this grand event. It took 30 minutes to reach there. At around eleven, we were at the venue. We were stunned to watch this event. It was really a spectacle to watch. I perfectly agree with this view. I am a lover of books. I spend a good deal of my leisure, reading books.
Books give me immense joy and satisfaction apart from knowledge.It dispels my tension for some time, at least. Last January, I got the opportunity to visit the North-East book fair held at Guwahati. A brief history of the scanner and its operation is initially outlined. The discussion then focuses on the advantages and limitations of the five main types of scanners in common use today: drum, flatbed, sheet-fed, slide, and hand held scanners. The performance of these scanners is examined in relation to four main criteria: resolution, bit-depth, dynamic range and software.
It is concluded that further technological advances in these four areas as well as the deployment of new sensor technology will continue to improve the quality of scanned images.
